Yearly planner

Personalized planners make great, inexpensive gifts. We just took inexpensive planners with clear plastic covers and decided to cover them with whatever paper we chose. Then used glitter pens, inked paper edges, rub-ons, stamps, and stickers for visual dimension without added bulk.

Teri W made the one above with KaiserCraft papers from the Jade's Garden and Winter Wonderland collections.

I needed a checkbook size one for my purse. I plan to add another photo to the back, but I don't have it printed yet.

This one was made with leftover scraps from other projects. I'll add a photo to the front and back of this one also. The backgound has a subtle striped sheen that works with a lot of papers.

We used seasonal rubber stamps on the inside pages with light colored chalk inks and colored pencils so that the designs wouldn't show through the backs of pages.

Page layouts

This easy page was created with a Digital Page Overlay from Prima. The disk comes with 32 different Quickpage overlays for 12x12 and 6x6 layouts. We inserted our own text using PhotoShop Elements. The design can be printed on any paper you choose. Then LaDonna added tiny paper flowers to the printed stems.

This layout was created by Gina using Cricut cut shapes and letters, one piece of Grungeboard and a few eyelets with the Super Hero line of papers from KaiserCraft . I love the way this turned out. We are going to have to order more of this paper. It is going fast.

Vincennes Downtown Christmas Stroll

What better way to start the weekend Christmas Stroll, then to have a Parade of Lights. There were a lot of great floats and even Santa Claus joined in the fun.

The Christmas Stroll will last until 5:00pm on Sunday and there are several things planned at different stores down Main Street. So even if you missed the parade you can still enjoy the Christmas Stroll weekend.

Paper Bag Mini Albums

Today I spent the afternoon with a Girl Scout Troop, in a class created for their age group. We had a great time making paper bag mini albums.
With a group of 17 girls I had to bring in some help. My friend Angie S. came up from Princeton to help out with the group. Here are some photos from the afternoon.

Fun funky new papers for those comic book superheroes

The picture didn't come out great on this one, but these papers are great for boy pages, whether they were super heroes at Halloween or just on a daily basis.

New paper line for pages about the men in our lives

If you find that it is sometimes difficult to design pages for the men in your life, this paper line will change you mind. The one above with all the pieces you can cut out makes designing the pages so much easier. There are sayings about men in general, fathers, husbands, and more.

Christmas Card Candy

Check out this class project Heidi A. just brought in. This is for her Christmas Card Candy class on November 15th at 1:00 p.m.

Don't these look like so much fun!!! Once you learn how to make these creative accents you can use them on cards, as gift decorations, or as gifts themselves.

If you have a stamp set your friend really likes, but you just can't part with it, make some card candy with that set and give it to her as a gift. Then she can create cards or pages with the stamp set she loves and you never had to part with them.

If you think you would like to take this class, stop by the store or give us a call by Nov. 12th and we will get you signed up. Since this is a guest teacher we cannot have any sign-ups past that date.
